Ken’s 2008 Iditarod Journal is now available for purchase in our webshop ! Read some excerpts from the 2008 long distance racing journal and check out the July/August edition of Mushing Magazine !

We are based out of Fox, Alaska and compete in races all over North America. We are the first husband and wife team to complete both the Iditarod and Yukon Quest, and have also competed competitively in stage and sprint races. We have approximately 80 dogs of all ages in our kennel, including about 20 retirees. We live in a small 14ft by 16ft cabin we built ourselves with no running water or electricity. Our lives revolve around the dogs, but Gwen is also involved in renewable energy projects around Alaska and is currently the Organizatonal Director of the Alaska Center for Energy and Power.
